We recently experienced a bit of a heat wave in Mexico City, where normally mild weather (the average annual temperature is 64 degrees) means that most buildings aren’t equipped with air conditioning. After two nights of sweltering, I bought this five-speed Woozoo fan from Costco (yes there are Costcos in Mexico and yes, the hot dogs taste just as good). It’s small enough to sit on a nightstand, but strong enough to cool an entire room. And it’s some of the best money I’ve spent this year.
